What is STCW Elementary First Aid (EFA)?
STCW Elementary First Aid, is a one-day First Aid course for seafarers. This is one of the course that makes up the STCW Basic Safety Week. It is suited for
- All seafarers working on vessel over 200 tonnes
- Professional Yachtsmen/women working internationally
- All Super Yacht Crew
- Workboats & Industry Skippers operating up to 60 Miles from a Safe Haven
Skippers operating further offshore require the more advanced 4-day MCA / STCW Medical First Aid and Medical care courses which are aimed at seafarers venturing offshore.
